    Winter 2010 Interviews
Interviews will be held November 16-20 in 118 HGB. Sign up for an interview and pick up a reminder form at 118 HGB when you turn in your application. Come prepared to teach a non-academic skill to two people in 5 minutes or less (no writing skills, and no origami, please). Please make your teaching as interactive as possible. Final decisions will be made the week of finals and acceptances will be emailed to your specified address shortly thereafter. Please make copies of your material; all submissions become property of the Writing Fellows.

Participation Requirements
Honrs 300R, Writing and Pedagogy, is required for all first-semester Writing Fellows. It is a three-hour course taught Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:35–2:50. This course fulfills the Advanced Writing requirement and can also be used to fulfill Arts and Letters or as an English elective.

We require at least a two-semester commitment. Writing Fellows typically work sixty hours each semester and receive $7.75/hr the first semester, with increases each semester following. You can work up to twenty hours per week at another job and still be a Writing Fellow.
